Local Buses, Taxi Companies
The very best way to get about in the Riverland is by motorcycle or car depending on how you travelled to the AGM Event as most places to see are within a 30km radius of the Event Site. Taxis are available in each of the major Towns and bus companies will be contracted to take members around the tourist areas of the Riverland on demand. We recommend using Riverland Passenger Transport services (0488 131 176).
Dedicated shuttle services will be used for pick up and drop offs from all major Riverland towns and close by areas for the Wednesday and Saturday night dinners.
Explore the Riverland by Houseboat
Set your own pace – take a cruise down the Murray River on a houseboat, or hit the water in a canoe or kayak.
Boats for all budgets
There are privately chartered houseboats to suit all tastes and budgets; some even have five-star ratings. Costs and availability vary according to the season, so make sure you book in advance.
Never hired a boat? No worries. A standard drivers’ licence is all you need to captain your own houseboat. You'll get full tuition before you depart, including information on river conditions, boating rules and mooring spots.
